Tastes like sour cardboard. Barely drinkable.

Thanks to GRG1313 for sharing this one at his tasting.
Pours an opaque black with a foamy dark khaki head that settles to an oily film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of dark roasted malt, cocoa, and slight soy sauce aromas. Taste is much the same with cocoa and bourbon flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of roasty bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a slight soy sauce aroma that thankfully isn't in the flavor as well.

Minimal head on the pour. Black as night and no light will dare breech this brew. The nose is entirely whiskey and it is very intense. Plum and raisin flavors are strong in this beer. The roasted barley flavor is definitely more of a background note. The mouthfeel is very smooth considering the weight of this monster and it actually quite luscious.
