I went on a Wednesday night, so I don't think I can give it a fair grade on atmosphere. Overall, the decor is nice if not contemporary. There were only a few others in there besides me and there wasn't much conversing between patrons.

I had a couple beers as well as a few tastings of others. I was pretty impressed with everything I tried. The Smoked Pigasus was a pretty solid beer that I guess is smoked at a local BBQ joint.

Service was great. Again, there were very few customers which likely contributed to this, but both the guys working there were extremely friendly and eager to talk beer. They seemed like genuinely good people that cared about the business.

They don't have a ton of beers on tap, but the variety of what they had was impressive. A smoked porter, a cherry saison, rye IPA, imperial red, golden blonde, oatmeal brown... it seemed like they have a choice for whatever you're craving. I found it pretty commendable that they had all these styles and from what I tasted did them all well with a couple having their own extra twist (ie the smoked porter and cherry saison.)

I didn't get a chance to try the food, but from what I understood the food is from another establishment, just served here. The menu was small, but included typical gastro type food.

I found the prices to be extremely reasonable, especially the to-go bombers.

I'll definitely be back here next time I'm in town and think this was a nice addition to the growing craft scene in STL.

Great pre-cardinals/whenever stop for me. The beers are generally great, though it's rare that an exceptional standout is available on draught. I'm most impressed by their barrel-aged "volume series" beers, modestly impressed by their berliner weisse variants (i.e. passion fruit), and relatively unimpressed by their hop-forward offerings (with a few exceptions including ca$h mony, resurrection, contact high). The prices are generally $5 a pour and they have ample schwag to take home if you're interested. Food is great, but not really associated with the brewery (5th wheel is a Bailey's dig). I'd say my most pleasant experiences have been stopping by for goshen coffee (cold brew ice cream float) on a Saturday "takeover" and their beer dinner, which was put on during STL craft beer week. I'm a fan of their experimentation, but think their execution is sometimes lacking.

I've been here a few times now. For some reason, this seems to be my go-to place when I'm in St Louis.
4 Hands consists of a small tap room with a somewhat industrial feel to it. There is a bar to the back end with stools while there is a mix of tables and chairs to fill the space. Along the side and back are windows which open the space to the brewery itself. I've only been at off-times, but the tap room does get a bit crowded after a Cardinals game (and unless you're lucky enough to score one of the five designated parking spaces, you'll be paying $5 to park if it's a game day).
There is always a good mix of beers on. A bit of something for everyone. Some hoppy pale ales, their berliner, as well as some maltier beers and even a few cocktails for the non-beer drinkers. Pours go for about $6 each. Growler fills are in the area of $10, depending on the beer.
There are no servers. Just a bartender and a guy in the kitchen. Everything is obtained from the bar itself. Service is professional and the barkeeps know whats on tap (and are more than willing to give samples if you want to try something new.)
Food is fairly limited. More like bar snacks then a full menu.
Beer is available to go. Some in the cooler. Some on the shelf. And, of course, there is a multitude of beer schwag to go along with it.
