Pours into a nonic a milky hazed Tang color with a sticky half finger bone white head that leaves broken"globs"of lace behind as it settles into a frothy mass.Sharp grapefruit pith stands out in the nose...really sharp, some lemon oils come into play as well.I really like the hop flavor profile here, grapefruit again stands out along with lemon and slight apricot,a bit of toasted wheat malts come thru in the finish. The body is a little thinner wich isn't so bad for the style, for me a near perfect hot weather beer here.

A: Pours a very cloudy/murky deep golden honey in color with light to moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and some faint amber highlights. The beer has a finger tall dense foamy (almost creamy) bright white head that slowly reduces to a large patch of medium thick film covering the entire surface of the beer with a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of citrus/grapefruit, citrus/grapefruit pith, citrus/lemon, and pine/resin hops over light aromas of wheat and toasted malts.

T: Upfront there is a just shy of moderate flavor of wheat and toasted malts with a hint of caramel sweetness. That is followed by slightly stronger than moderate flavors of citrus/grapefruit, citrus/grapefruit pith, citrus/lemon, herbal, and pine/resin hops which contribute a light to moderate amount of lingering bitterness.

M: Just slightly heavier than light bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Almost creamy initially with a light amount of dryness in the finish.

O: Very enjoyable and very easy to drink with a slightly thinner mouthfeel than I expected but that improves it for the hot weather. Really nice hop flavors and aromas.

A good wheat beer. I had a pint on tap at the brewery. Hazy, earthy, some lemon undertones. I would get it again. Middle of the pack for Birdsong' s beers.

Poured from a growler (from TBG) into an IPA glass.

A - A cloudy, golden orange with yellowish hues and a two finger creamy head.

S- Wheat, some berry like fruit, and some toasted bread.

T - Follows the nose farily well. You do get some mild lemon/orange citrus. The finish is all pale malts and grains.

M - Very light in terms of carbonation, a touch creamy. Finished crisp and mildly bitter.

O - A good change of pace beer, especially in the summer months.
