The Craftsman is definitely worth stopping into if you are in the area. With one of the best tap and bottle selections in the county. I've been there during their Belgian beer week and it was an absolute blast. Got to try a lot of beers on Tao that I had been in search of for a while.
There staff has always been very helpful and mostly knowledgable. Extremely friendly. And quick to ask if I wanted another.
The decor is pretty much littered by beer bottles, beer posters and breweriana. I think my only complaint really is that it's a little too small but if someone really wanted to call it intimate I wouldn't argue.
The food is pretty good, I'd recommend their burgers and veggie burger especially.
The pricing can be very good especially if you pick something up during happy hour.
All in All I would highly recommend this place for people who live in Westchester.

The Craftsman Alehouse is a small, but cozy pub. They have good pub food, burgers and the like. The draft beer selection is small, but there is usually something good on tap. Plus they have a good selection of specialty bottle and cans to choose from. They also recently started serving lunch. I would give this place a try if your in the area. You won't be blown away with the draft selection, but I'd be surprised if you don't find something you like.

Wow, Yelp connected me with one of the best hookups ever. The Craftsman held a Pumpkin Fest last weekend with well over 20 Pumpkin Ales by Bottle, around 20 draughts rotating on their 8 taps. Saturday night were 9 exceptional choices coupled with a 100 plus bottle list that made me a believer that I will begin to exit the train from New York at Harrison more often and then get back home after enjoying the amazing beer selection by great bar staff that know their products.
Couple this with a simple but really well done menu of exceptional chicken sandwiches, burgers, Mac & Cheese with any selected ingredients. I had a grilled chicken sandwich with cheddar, fried pickles, onion rings, mushrooms that was the perfect complement to the beer choices that included pumpkins from Blue Point, Ithaca, Sam Adams, Southern Tier, Wyerbacher, Long Trail, Long Ireland, and others. $10 for flights of 4 $20 for all 8. Its a great way to perfectly sample every single one of their taps but be warned they go through kegs fast so expect to try 10 then your way to the Metro North Station....
Fun atmosphere at the bar, this is a smaller establishment with a huge heart, great beer, spirits and food. What more could you honestly want in a craft beer establishment other than that it was located a little closer to home. I'll be back... Often...

Stopped by after seeing them on Beer Menus so often. The burgers are good and there are quite a few to choose from. They also have a decent salad and some other bar food tidbits. They have eight on tap and a lot more in a bottle. Very good selection. One of the best things is that just about every draft is $5.00 which means I got Founders Double Trouble for $5. A deal! They also have growlers. All growlers are $15.00 also a deal for some beers. I would suggest bringing your own growler as their own glass is a bit pricey. The staff is friendly and the owner knows what he is doing and has been doing it for a while.
A definite craft beer destination in Westchester County NY.

Been up and running for just a few months, but the vibe in this mid sized, two room joint is already well established and feeling right.
8 quality options on tap and 50 BA worthy bottles and cans. Tap options were from Allagash, Brooklyn, Captain Larry, Coney Island, Harpoon, Pretty Things and Sixpoint, so yeah, you will find something respectable to try. No crap in bottles, all craft, nice. Ithaca event just starting roll when I visited. They will fill their growler or your growler for you for a flat $15. Join the growler club and every 6th fill is on the house.
Typical beer bar apps, then salads and a host of options for $10 "speciality" burgers.
By the train station in downtown Harrison on Westchester's "gold" coast, multiple flat screens with the game on, a mess of empty beer bottles up on high, a frendly and beer centered owner Joe. Put it all together and you have a comfortable, friendly quality craft focused new place. If I was local, this would be a regular place to hang out in and for a quality brew and a bite. Well worth a visit

A great recent find! As the only craft-centric beer bar of the immediate surrounding area, this is a fine addition to the hood. Went for lunch on a Sunday, short menu of burgers and salads, all about $10. Good burger, nothing noteworthy but fine and tasty. Drafts are $5 and bottle selections are about the same for most 12oz. Signs promoting happy hour and kill the keg nights. Many flatscreens, brewery tins and chalk paint on the walls announcing tap and bottle lists. Oh and an enviable collection of bottles above the door - Pliny the Elder, Three Floyds Alpha King, Etc.
As an establishment still finding their footing there were some great craft intros on tap for the faint of heart - Olde Saratoga Lager & Victory Prima, as well as several selections for the well seasoned - Hooker Liberator, Greenport Black Duck Porter, Keegan Hurricane Kitty, Founders Centennial, etc. Nice attention to NY and other local breweries and some more obscure upstate bottle selections. Enjoyed a River Horse Tripel, Lost Tribes Shikra Ale, Sixpoint Diesel and a very special treat...
The true greatness of this establishment comes from the owner Joe who i met this past weekend. This is NOT someone who is trying to cash in on the micro trend, this is a man who is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about craft beer. A homebrewer and craft collector, this is a man doing it for the love of the game. So, after shooting the breeze, Joe pulls out a 2009 Deschutes Barrel Aged Mirror Mirror and pops it to enjoy with myself and my girlfriend. You sir, have just gained a customer for life. Go support this new spot... because I wanna keep it!
