Thanks to Ron for sharing this one.
Clear gold, thin layer of foam that fades quickly.
Dull aroma of malt and apple cider, artificially sweet.
Bland and flabby feel, artificially sweet, crackers soaked in apple cider.
This junk doesn't come close to a gueuze.
It's a shame they claim it's traditional in any way.

An interesting beer that is the kind I have consumed very rarely.
The aroma isn't the greatest, with a slight funky off food/vegemite about it.
However, the taste is very nice and a lot more appealing than the aroma. It is closer to apple cider than beer in taste.
Apple and lemon are the predominate flavours on the palate, with a slight sour, barnyard funk, oak and vinegar to compliment it.
Overall, a very nice and enjoyable beer - would be especially good when the weather is warm.

From Beer Cartel. BB 9/11/13 (!)
Pours a dark straw. One finger head dies to film.
Aromas of apple cider, a little vinegar. No funk/barnyard. hmmm
Taste is quite sweet (!) what - again not to style.. apple cider notes, a hint of sour vinegar, sherbert, lemon, but palate rounded out by somewhat artificial sweet notes.
Mouthfeel zesty, lively, light bodied, very drinakable.
Overall, this is a hot summer night beer, made for drinking not thinking. The price belies that, as does style category. FAIL, but still drinkable.

Clear, golden amber colour with a small white head. Not bad at all.
Lightly tart and mildly funky aroma. Lacking the complexity of good lambic.
Sweet with plenty of artificial sweetener notes. A little grainy. Lacking sourness, funk and yeast character. Disappointing.
Medium light body with moderately low carbonation. Disappointing.
There's not much to say except that this doesn't really work. Disappointingly artificial and sweet.

What the f**k has this beer to do with Gueuze?
It looks and smells like a pilsener and it tastes like nothing.
L: golden look; nice top;
S: if I'm drinking a gueuze I don't want to smell pilsener; where are the bretts?
T: it tastes like sh**t. A sweet, flat, I don't know what I am drinking.
M: soft, flat, too less alcohol.
O: a complete misfigure. A yellow gueuze that doesn't earn this name.

A 330ml bottle with a BB of Sept 2011. Sealed with a crown cap and foil. The ingredients list on the rear label state that this contains 5.3% apple juice - an interesting addition to a 'traditional' gueuze.
Poured into a Sam Smith's pint glass (yeah, I should get a proper lambic glass). A hazy golden-amber hue with plentiful lumps of floating yeast and low carbonation. Forms a large white head of foam that lasts for a couple of minutes before subsiding. A tart, acidic aroma with a hint of sweetness and distinct fruity notes, especially sour apples.
The taste is fairly sour, though by no means over the top for a lambic. Some sugary sweetness, with notes of fruit and tart apples. There is also an artificial character lurking in the background - antioxidents or sweeteners? A dry, sour finish. Mouthfeel is rather astringent and puckering, leaving the palate dry. Mild aftertaste of sour grain/apples.
An OK gueuze but not the best example I've ever tried. The sugary sweetness doesn't sit all that well, and doesn't meld properly with the acidic character. Not too sure about the addition of apples either, this adds a flavour that feels like it doesn't belong. I also found the excessive floating yeast to be a flaw that is visually unappealing. Still, the elements of lambic are present and it would probably make a decent 'starter' for someone new to the style.

Bottle shared with a few others, a huge disappointment in my opinion. Beer is yellow and haze a head that breaks and falls away. Carbonation moderate.
Aroma was grainy and sweet...oh no, what have I done?
This is not a gueuze but a faro, even though they make a faro and this clearly says gueuze on the label I find that hard to believe. It's thin and grainy and sugary sweet. I drank my share unlike the others who just poured it out. Huge disappointment, like I said.

Bottle opened by drabmuh. Thanks, Matt. Served in a Bruery tulip.
Pour yields a slightly-hazy golden brew with a thin white head and not much in the way of retention of lacing. The nose immediately indicates that this is not going to be a very good beer, and certainly not going to be a good gueuze. There is quite a bit of sweetness along with too much fruit. No funk at all. The flavor and palate come together with way too much sweetness. Not quite cloying for beer in general, though certainly so for something calling itself a gueuze. Just gross. Drainpour.
