Formerly Kriek Lambic.
From the cherry tree’s transient flowers, its fruits ripen – round, red and packed with sunshine. Timmermans Kriek blends its famed lambic with this sweetness for a beer that can quench any thirst. Its natural freshness will make you blush for joy

Pours a clear, ruby red coloration with a small, fluffy head. Smell is dominated by a somewhat artificial cherry aroma, with strong notes of marzipan as well. Taste is an okay balance of sweet and slightly tart red cherries with a distinct, sugary marzipan presence as well. Finishes with a light tartness, medium sweetness and some cherries and marzipan lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a ligh body and medium carbonation.
While I think that this would make for an okay Fruit and Field beer, it does explicitely style itself as a lambic and should be rated as such as far as I'm concerned; and as a lambic it's honestly pretty terrible. Just like the standard stuff by Lindemanns, it's more reminiscent of flavored sugar water than a proper lambic, completely missing the rich funk and nuanced complexity that I expect from the style. There's no way that this is actually spontaneously fermented, is there? In any case, it's a pretty drinkable fruit beer that has got just enough tartness to it to prevent the sugary marzipan presence from becoming overbearing, with a decent fruitiness that feels a bit artificial rather than truly fresh and vibrant though.

Shared 250 ml bottle, at a lambic tasting at Lilland Bryggerihotell, Tau (I think I have a bottle from Bris Ølutsalg in my stash somewhere too). ABV is 4%. Clear red colour. Aroma of cherry kernels and almonds. Sweetish and sugary flavour, notes of artificial cherry candy, not very good. Won't buy again.

Produced 06/03/19 so probably means March 6th 2019.
Lovely red colour, good head of foam, some floaties. Not surprising given the age of the bottle.
The smell, in a nutshell, sweet cherries.
The taste, in a nutshell, sweet cherries with only the slightest hint of tartness.
Good mouthfeel. This is a delicious dessert beer. That is all.

I had this on draft at Bier Central near my Antwerp hotel in May 2018. It's red and was served in a 25 cl flute glass. It tasted like cherry soda, frankly, and was not really sour. The bar has a fantastic catalog of beers, this was a poor choice and made me doubt my favorable view of Kriek.

Light cherry red color with brownish tinges and a quickly disappearing cap.
Very tart aroma of cherry with a lemon twist.
A lemony sharpness is the first thing I notice about the taste followed by sweet cherry. Tartness is a theme that plays all the way to the finish with cherry interweaving with complementary lower notes. Finish is clean and dry.
Medium texture with balancing carbonation.
I generally don't try to match these sharp fruit beers with food preferring to drink them for their own merits. As a stand alone it works well.

This pours an effervescent cherry red in the glass. Vigorous foam that dissipates into a tight cap. Big, big, big cherry aroma. Sweetly cherries, crisp and tasty.
Date code says 13/6/18, so almost a year old when tasted.

Cerveza rojiza con una cabeza espumosa de poca duración. Cuerpo ligero y carbonatación media. Aroma dulce a frutos rojos destacando la cereza. En boca es dulce con un final corto ligeramente agrio.

Red color with a thin head.
Aroma with predominant notes of cherries and barnyard.
Bold notes of Kriek, lemon, mild barnyard funky, mild vinegar and oak.
Mild to medium body with flat carbonation.
Intense and interesting Kriek.

Clear magenta colored beer with a small pink colored head.
Smells strongly of cherry as expected. Smells sweet instead of sour. But it pretty much smells like cherry candy.
Starts off sweet and tasting of cherry. Little bit of sourness but really this is all cherry. No hops or woody flavors, pretty close to cherry soda.
Mouthfeel is OK.
Overall it is a mild cherry tasting ale. This could substitute for cherry soda and you might not notice.
