Pours dark ruby, fluffy one finger head. Sticky lacing later on.
Smells really nice, sweet cherries, fruit pit, candy sugar, spices, some low floral notes.
Quite sweet (not syrupy) and fruity, but without feeling artificial. Sweet and bitter cherries, forest berries, red apple peel, not too much lemon zest. Not as sour as the "Retro Kriek", lower lambic elements too. Still tart enough. Spicy, reminding somehow of almond/amaretto and cinnamon. Low bitterness, wheat in the aftertaste.
A bit soda fizzy, but it's crisp and refreshing, just sweet enough, without lingering unpleasantly in the aftertaste.
Pretty good beer actually, made me think of cherry cake. Not such an interesting "lambic" tho.

Pours a very deep ruby color. No head. Lots of carbonation bubbles rising.

Nose is a bit salty. Barnyard funk. Sweat. Maybe a hint of fruit but not much.

Taste is tart and funky. Light cherry taste towards the middle and end. Super refreshing.

High carbonation. Thin but not watery.

Would drink again but nothing to seek out. Was hoping for a bigger cherry flavor here.

a: hazy read/purple. 3 finger light pinkish/red head that disappears quickly

s: cherries, slight vinegar, candy sugar - smells very sweet

t: sweet. so sweet, like candy. its all cherries up front, with just the faintest hint of vinegar tartness. hint of sweet malt as well

m: light, and pretty carbonated

o: wow this is sweet - not in a bad way. its just a little too one-dimensional for me. all cherries, would have like a little more tartness, maybe some oak would be nice too.
