Found at The Beer Shop in Athens.
Looks luscious. Smells like dark tree fruit. Tastes follow as a well-integrated ale will. Sits nice in my mouth.
My first, I went on Martin's website. I frankly don't know what to make of them and it would take hours of work to know what to make of them. And since I am drinking beer and not working, I offer this summary: they are an iconoclastic -- and probably quite bombastic -- brand manager... more than they are a brewer. My main concern is this: why don't they distribute Dominus in the Midwest? (Timmermann's one of their brands is commonly available.)

Poured from 0.33l bottle into chalice,
L: Very dark brown with a weak white foam head.
S: Gentle smell of dark fruits, roasted dark bread.
T: Plums,caramel.
F: A little bit watery for me, low carbonated.
O: Slightly dissapointed by this dubbel, but anyway it's good!

From Hipercor. In Teku glass. After dinner. Didnt expect much and have been surprised with a tasty dubbel, with a good amount of plum in its profile. 2 months before BB date.

Decent dubbel, dark brown with thick beige head. Head fades fast to skin. Sweetish aroma of molasses and burnt toast. Taste is sharp and zippy, leaves your tongue tingling, more molasses and some metallic aftertaste. Pretty good, but could be improved.

Foam creamy consistency similar to coffee mousse, dark beige, not very durable.
The aroma of caramel, plum, resinous.
The taste is spicy, malty, slightly caramel, delicious bitterness that is always at the finish of each sip. Dominus Dubbel is moderately saturated, drunk easily worth repeating..

Picked up in a bottle shop in Brussels. Never tried before so giving it a shot. Bottle has a bb date of sept 2016.
A bit murky with a little more red and less brown color than other Belgian dubbels. Lots of bubbles but barely any head. Aroma is definitely dubbel-ish. Fruity yeasty esters. Caramel sweet roasted malt. Taste is clean and pleasing. Caramel with slight banana notes. High carbonation with a fairly light body. Only a 6.5% brew. Overall a nice Belgian dubbel. I'd gladly have again.
