Appearance was a beautiful dark amber color.

Smell of citrus hops(citra I think).A sweet overall smell.

Taste is of orange peel and a slight sweetness of maple.

Mouthfeel was a velvety feel with the malts and a dryness on the palate.

Overall a fantastic beer. One of the better brown ales I have tried recently. This beers smoothness left no alchol presence on the finish. A must stop for, if in VT.

On tap at Fiddlehead.

I believe this was a Citra-hopped brown ale. Slightly hazy pour, medium brown in color, with a small but firm cap of white head that retained well and laced the glass. Hoppy aroma, citrusy and piney, slight biscuity malt profile noticeable. This is not your normal brown ale / malt bomb. The taste reflected the nose, hop-dominated, citrus pulp and oils, pine and floral notes, with a dry, biscuity malt base giving a sugary finish. Crisp mouthfeel, medium body, easily drinkable, but again, more of a hop-head's beer. Higher ABV is practically unnoticeable. Nicely done.
