Notes & Commercial Description:
Beer added by: Brad007 on 01-01-2012

This medium bodied American style IPA has an alluring golden glow and beautifully blends three strains of hops. While strong citrus notes ambush your taste buds halfway through the palate, the beer finishes very crisp and dry.

Very smooth American style IPA. A strong, but not overpowering hoppinness. Very crisp. I grabbed some Mastermind from their brewpub, and I'm hoping it's as strong.

On tap at Fiddlehead Brewing Company in Shelburne, VT.

Pours a hazy golden orange, with a one inch head, and a good amount of lacing.

Smells like grapefruit and pine, with some orange as well.

Tastes like honey-covered grapefruit, orange, pine, and a little bit of crackery malt. Tasty, but doesn't particularly distinguish itself from other IPAs, unfortunately.

This one is medium bodied, with a medium amount of carbonation. Really, really drinkable.

An excellent start to my Vermont beer trip, but it could definitely be a little more.
