Sample at VT Brewfest.
A-Pours a very dark brown. Head is a thin, brown froth.
S-Lovely, yummy coconut. I am an admitted coconut beer addict, so this aroma nailed it for me. Chocolatey, roasty and again, delectably coconutty.
T-The chocolate and cocoa and roast and coffee usher in the delicious coconut flavor. Coconut flesh and toasted husk. Boom.
M-Lighter than anticipated. I actually enjoy the light body here. I made multiple trips to Fiddlehead's tent for this so it's drinkable to me.
O-Delicious. One of the best beers I tried during my most recent Vermint trip. Coconut Porter! One of god's gifts to me.

Can poured into glass. Almost jet black with dark tan head. The chocolate and vanilla are dominant in both aroma and taste. Coconut and malty flavors are more hidden. Luscious mouth feel. This makes a wonderful dessert beer - if you can imagine such a thing.
