Like Nina Agdal after a Turkish bath, this one is clean and delectable. Slight grape flavor like Alexander lording over Macedonia. All that is along with quality west coast flavors like Malibu in the fall. Yep!

Combination of IPA and white grapes. Apparently the iterations change the hops and types of grapes each batch. Nice hazy straw look to this beer and a gorgeous bouquet of grape skins, melon, orange and Chardonnay. This is a unique one that works really well.

On tap at the brewery...
A: Slightly cloudy pale gold, 2 finger white head, poor retention.
AR: Grape, slight grassy/garlic note, hops.
T: Follows nose, slight lingering bitterness, musty earthiness on the finish.
M: Medium carbonation, medium body.
Enjoyable. Would love to see the grape translate to the taste a little more.

On tap at Bread and Barley in Covina. If you're looking for a good IPA that's not a hop bomb, this is a good choice. It's not overpowered by grape but it is present and is an interesting change to the usual grapefruit/citrus flavor IPAs.
A: poured into an English pub glass a slightly hazy golden color with 1 inch head that dissipates quickly.
N: funky ipa hop smell with a hint of sweet grapes
T: hops up front, sweet citrus, and a grape finish
M: good crisp carbonation cleans the palate and prepares you for the next sip
O: a very drinkable IPA that is an interesting departure from the usual hop-centric west coast IPAs that are so prevalent. Grape flavor could be more pronounced but I imagine it's is tough to brew with grapes.
*No gorilla extract.
