On tap 11/14/12 at Bare Hands, served in a nonic pint.
Pour: Vibrant orange with a finger and a half of cream colored head. Head is very foamy. Body has a some serious radioactive hues to it. Leaves really nice lacing.
Smell: Usual citra hop burst, with big notes of grapefruit and pineapple, as well as some white peppercorn. More citrus, and a some light bready notes.
Taste: Great citrus grapefruit up front, that gives way to more white peppercorn than I am used to with a citra pale. I like it, not spicy, but very flavorful. Some oranges mix with a bready sweetness. Finished with a juicy linger citrus bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Super juicy, so much so that this beer has a nice medium body. Not too much bitterness. Great carb.
Overall: Bare Hands best brew. They really have their Pale Ale game down, and this is a beautiful beer, in all aspects.
Serving type: on-tap
