Nice citrus nose. Smooth. I'd buy again.

Got this as an extra in a trade with dmsanchez. Nice citrus nose, with a light malty backbone. A tasty double IPA that drinks like it is much lower in alcohol than 9.5%. A cool treat from the west coast.

Handsome amber color with plenty of foam in the wine glass. Lovely piney and flowery aroma.

Tangy and spicy with a hot finish. Warm with the sweet malt liqueur taste. Big and flavorful.

Very sippable and the ladies seem to like it. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Beer Revolution in Oakland for nine bucks.

The beer has that vibrant, orange body and white head double IPA appearance. It's citrusy and almost lightly sweet/malty but the tasting notes focus hard on a combination of citrus and hops. There is good retention in the lacing and stickiness. I like the ascending swirl of bubbles. The nose is somewhat hoppy but mostly pronounced by the orange citrus aroma. It's a fine specimen for the category.
