This is a fantastic hop forward west coast IPA. I'll go as far to say one of the best on the market. To me it is reminiscent of Kern Rivers Just Outstanding and I absolutely consider this to be in the same class as the Just Outstanding, Sculpin, Alesmith and the other consummate west coast single IPAs. This is crisp, hop forward and refreshing, almost "juicy".. If you can get this fresh, its a must try. Impossible to find outside of the greater Sacramento area....the cans are even better than bottles

This is a great IPA. Beautiful color, taste, aroma on this brew. It can hold its own versus any IPA in California from any big name brewery. One of my ATF IPA's.

The review by BoilerMakerBrew, below a few posts, is spot on. I don't mind the lighter feel as you don't get too bloated too fast. And, yes, it is much better in person and FRESH.

Best of all, the owners Geoff & Ryan are really down to earth humble guys. I live about 20 minutes from the original hole-in-the-wall location in Tahoe Park so I'm there alot to fill my growler or hang out with friends.

Comes delivered in a 1 Pint (473ml) bottle. This beer pours with a golden shade of amber, with a shy but somewhat dense head that disappears shortly after release. The beer is murky enough to deny you to see through it. The subtle but yet very authoritative aroma is mesmerizing and delivers an absolute treat to the nose and is among one of the best I've come around.

The taste is very pleasing with a dense hoppy tone that shows a preference towards the fruity, which leaves plenty of room for more of its kind. In other words, the Panic IPA will satisfy most hop loving folks, but its aftertaste does not stick around for a while (and thus does not have a dry aftermath), leaving the consumer wanting yet another one. It can be enjoyed on any occasion, but probably suits best as the highlight of the cooler at a backyard BBQ event.

Great Local IPA. Citrus and stone fruit present with some danky pine bite at the end
