Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a tall pint glass. Best by date of 10/03/14.

Appearance: Pours a bright and clear golden orange with a moderate amount of bubbles. Huge four finger off white head with decent retention. Leaves a lot of lacing.

Smell: An earthy and fruity hop forward aroma with good hints of citrus and grass. Citrus hops with hints of orange peel, lemon, grapefruit, pineapple, and melon. Floral and earthy hops with hints of damp grass and pine. Soft pale malt background with hints of cracker, grains, and straw. A pretty solid APA aroma.

Taste: Like it smells, an earthy and nicely juicy hop forward taste with notes of citrus fruit and grass. Citrus hops with some notes of grapefruit, orange peel, lemon, melon, and pineapple. Solid presence of earthy and floral hops with some notes of wet grass and pine resin. Soft bready pale malt background with notes of grains, cracker, biscuit, and straw. A pretty nice taste.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Crisp, juicy, and somewhat chewy with a smooth drying finish.

Overall: A pretty solid hoppy American Pale Ale taste. Nice mix of grassy and citrus hops.

Enjoy by date of 10.01.14

Pours a clear, pale straw color with a large head that quickly settles to a thin film. Moderate amount of sticky lacing is left down the glass. Is not much to look at but it tells a story on what is coming.

Aroma is hops, a lot of hops. Hints of grapefruit, tropical fruit, meadow flowers, and herbs. No sign of any malt.

There is a bit of dry, cracker malt flavor upfront but that is quickly disposed of by the blast of hop flavor and bitterness. Grapefruit and tropical fruit comes on strong with faint floral and herbal hints. Finishes dry and bitter with a grapefruit pith aftertaste. Malt bill tastes very similar to their Kolsch.

Light body with low carbonation. A would of liked just a little more life in the body but otherwise an easy beer to consume.

Like the low 5.4% ABV and the outstanding hop flavor. A hop head's pale ale that could be classified a "session" IPA. I do not understand why this brewery's beers garner low scores. Just about every beer I have had from them has been outstanding.

Nicea aroma. Sweet, fresh, citrus and fruity.
Very light colored, yellow light straw and somewhat clear. Nice small white head with a foamy look and some lacing.
Hoppy prominent bitterness is primary flavor and presents stronger than the grassy hop flavors and soft malt flavors. There are hints of the enjoyable fruits noted in the aroma, but the grassiness dominates.
Slightly thin and fully carbonated.
Pretty average. Nothing offensive.

12oz bottle with a cool label and info on the side in small print.

Light golden color, very clear, with a slightly sour musty veggie smell (better than it sounds). Nice and bitter, light floral/dank hops, crisply carbonated, drying finish.

Would like to try this on-tap.

Nothing unusual. A solid Pale Ale
