Described on the menu and website as an amber ale, not a brown ale as noted here on Beer Advocate.
Consumed November 23rd, 2013 at the brewery.
Medium amber/caramel colored beer with an off-white head.
No aroma. At all.
Slightly burned caramel malt flavor. Over-roasted malts. Some juicy melanoidin notes. Slightly bitter on the finish. A little more bite than a Fat Tire, but nothing to write home about.
Average mouthfeel.
I prefer this to many of the more widely available amber ales, but it's not a particularly praise-worthy brew.

On tap for the 4th Annual LA Beer Week Beer Festival at Union Station in Los Angeles, CA.
Pours a clear reddish-brown with a foamy brown head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, and caramel. Taste is much the same with a mild herbal hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp yet medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is tasty and easy to drink.

On tap @ the source
Look: Dark brown and not quite opaque with a 1/4 inch tan head and good retention with some great circular lacing
Smell: Toasted nuts with a touch of coffee
Taste: Very nutty upfront backed up by a perfect amount of coffee and finishes with some nice chocolate notes. Great flavors for a brown ale
Mouthfeel: Just a touch under medium body and mild carbonation
Overall: This is a real nice brown ale with a solid flavor profile and easy drinkability will drink again and is highly recommended
