Dark brown color with nice khaki head and good lacing. Mild malt, fruity smell, but very weak on flavor. Smooth and drinkable but just not much taste, guess this is why it was retired?

I wish I could explain the flavors and smells and whatnot, but this one does not say anything to me other then Sam Adams Winter. Average, forgettable, but you don't feel bad for drinking it. Easy drink to start a night.

Poured from 12oz bottle into tulip glass.

A: Dark, very dark, can't see the light from a lamp when its held up to it. Medium white head.
S: Malty and molasses
T: Malty and no hops. Molasses and caramel. Sweet flavor with same dry-bitter aftertaste Ive found in all anchor beers.
M: Silky and smooth.
O: Not my style. I find this one too sweet, reminds me of sweet corn with syrup.

A- A deep dark amber hue, slightly cloudy, thin tan head that dissipates quickly
S- Caramel, brown sugar, slight holiday spice, very little hop character
T- very rich, velvety caramel flavors, turning into burn cream, slight cinnamon, no hop flavor whatsoever
M-Nice carbing for this beer velvety mouthfeel for a rich bock and it is really the best feature of this beer.
O- a very richly flavored Bock with a nice velvety finish, a good malt profile, but it needs some hop interest, even for a low hop style i want something!
