Anchor Summer Beer, on tap, pours a light gold in color with a decent head and lace. Aroma is light, just some zested citrus and pale malts. Flavor is quite satisfying and refreshing, wheat and lemon playing key roles in the flavor theater. I was along for the ride and it was certainly worth it. Mouthfeel is light bodied, drinkability rates very high. A summer beer with some character and flavor. Another great one from Anchor.

Appearance: Golden yellow color. Slight head on the pour which dissipated quickly and wasn't present while drinking. Active carbonation is extremely low.
Smell: Biscuity malt hits first. Crisp, sharp wheat opens up on the body. Semi sweet wheat has a pleasant creamy flavor. Mossy hops shine underneath with a touch of oak.
Taste: A touch of hops on the front. Crisp wheat composes the body of this brew. A touch of grainy malts linger on the back end. Finish is a medium bodied dryness.
Mouthfeel: Fairly clean, some airy wheat. Carbonation is on the lower end, a touch off base.
Overall: A fair summer beer. Nothing overly complex or interesting but still comes off as a decent beer.
