Poured from 12oz bottle. Thanks to VinnieVanGogh for this after practice beer.

A- Pours a semi-hazed golden yellow color. Two finger white head shows medium retention. Light lacing left on the sides of the glass.

S- Pale wheat malts on the upfront of the aroma. Citrus overtones come through in the front as well and stick with this beer throughout the aroma. Hops on this are a mix between grassy hops and citrus hops. Lemony overtones to this beer. A nice refreshing summertime smelling beer.

T- Wheat upfront with a hint of bready malts toward the ending of the front of the beer and middle. Lemony citrus hints also show up in the front of the beer and ride through the entire rest of the beer. Ending shows a mix of grassy hops in the front with citrus hops toward the ending. Light alcohol flavor in the final tasting of the beer.

M- Light mouthfeel. Carbonation is good for the style. Wheat overtones, citrus, and bready malts. Aftertaste is light alcohol, lemony citrus hops, and light grassy tone. Flavors were very well put together for the style I thought. No off flavors were present at all. Light alcohol drying left on the palate.

O- This was a very nice drinking summertime beer. I really liked the way the beer just was refreshing. Alcohol was really no problem at all which could be a bad thing. A nice drinker from Anchor and I will be looking for this one during these warming months.

12 oz bottle into a pint glass.

A: Pours a clear gold color. The head looks great: it's three fingers high, white in shade, and with a superb creaminess. Webs of lacing linger nicely on the side of the glass.

S: Straight out of the bottle, it had a weird acidic tone. But in the glass, it's bringing little more than wheat and diacetyl. Just like the last beer I had, the nose is ridiculously bland. Not to mention, the buttery tones are too vivid.

T: Just like the nose: wheat with a side of buttery diacetyl. There is a bright spot in the subtly hopped finish (and I like how it gradually develops a mild citrus character), but otherwise, this is a big fat "meh."

M: At least it's pretty drinkable (even if it's because there's little to this brew). It has a crisp bite and decent carbonation. However, it's not very refreshing going down.

O: A better history lesson than an actual beer. All it has going for it is drinkability - and even then, there are other wheat beers I'd much rather drink. Without a doubt, this is my least favorite brew from Anchor.
