12 oz bottle into a wide-mouthed pint glass.

Looks really nice, a honey-gold color with some orange and yellow highlights. The finger-wide head of beautiful white foam looks great and leaves amazing lace behind. Good start!

Humming smells really nice - there's some sweet and modest malt for a base, but the wonderful hoppy scents make this very appealing. Light citrus notes of orange and lemongrass, plus some melon for good measure. A nice smelling beer indeed!

The beer also tastes quite nice. The malt is barely there, adding just a touch of cracker and breadiness to the experience. The star of the show is the Nelson Sauvin hops, which give a wild citrus rind taste to the beer; notable flavors include lemon, lime, unripe cantalope, and some earthy, leafy spices including a touch of mint. Very flavorful and crisp, with mild lingering bitterness. Just a hint of chardonnay in the experience as well!

The mouthfeel of Humming is appropriate for the style. It's crisp carbonation adds enjoyment and lightness to the medium body. The finish is balanced with some lingering mild bitterness and a sweet kiss of malt. Overall, this is much better than anything I've had from Anchor in years. A really decent take on the APA. Kudos!

Pours a dark golden, slightly orangey color, and a small white head which quickly disappears.
The aroma is my favourite, although slightly weaker than I'm used to - citrusy hops dominate the smell.
The taste starts neutral with a slight bitterness, slightly fruity, and finishes with a strong spicy taste, which also stays in the aftertaste.
Very nice ale, although I have a feeling, nothing really extra rememberful.
