American IPA. Amazingly unique for being one of the first.
Drinks like dales pale ale, but with more sweet subtlety.
Wish it came in cans, please
Color: Creamy, hazy blonde copper.
Smell: complex, shifting back and forth between inviting bitter, salt, and sweet. How do they do that? with herbs, flowers, and cookie dough.
Taste: similar board ranging from salt, bitter, sweet, bready. And the after taste is fine.
This also is a great appetizing before food beer.
Feel: Solid weight, but not heavy, easy to drink in the afternoon.
Lovely short bottle and American tradition earns it a regular place in my fridge along with Dales Pale Ale.
Serving type: bottle
