Appearance: Anchor Liberty Ale pours a apricot colour along with a creamy and frothy crown of great persistence, small in visible carbonation.
Smell: Mainly apricot and peach with notes of yeast and a overall sourness in a great combination!
Taste: A sweetness similar to the above mentioned fruits, only a bit more discrete this time. Dry and distinctively bitter in its aftertaste, at times, almost with a Absinthe-like wormwood-dryness.
Mouthfeel: Medium full and rather creamy, carbonation is subtle but not low or all too distant.
Drinkability: A bit too over-represented in its bitterness. Personally, I would've liked it if the fruitier and sweeter notes were a bit more pronounced, but then again it sort of fades at a higher temperature.
