A: Golden yellow color; head does not command attention.
S: Clean hoppy scent. Hops are not overwhelming. Seems balanced.
T: Very balanced. Neither the malt nor the hops take the lead (until the finish, which is nice and hoppy -- dries out the palate so one wants another sip). Hops are of the grape-fruity variety, and are not at all overdone. A great session ale.
MF: Effervescent, which allows the hops to show up. Nice body.
D: An all-around great session ale that is nice and balanced. Anchor has done a good job avoiding the temptation to make a beer that is silly or overwhelming on any front.
