Single bottle (April 2010 date) poured into shaker pint glass.
Appearance: Hazy yellow orange color with a off-white thin foam across the top. Islands and strands of lacing.
Smell: Citrus hops, biscuit-like malt and some honey and yeast thrown in for good measure. Very nice.
Taste: Sweet malt with honey-like flavors with a hop bitter/citrus finish. The hop bitterness lingers a bit as an aftertaste. It's quite tasty and continues to grow on me with each sip and swallow.
Mouthfeel: Plenty of carbonation, leaves a film on the teeth, but otherwise goes down easy.
Drinkability: I could easily go for another of these. It's interesting to make you want more, and yet refreshing enough that you're not overwhelmed by all the flavors. I think this would go well with food, but I think I'd rather just enjoy it as is, by itself with nothing else to interfere with the flavors.
