Poured into some belgian pilsner glass. (Brouwerij 't IJ)
A-Cloudy golden orange in hue, with 1" head that settles quick to 1/8" foam.
S-This is a pale ale? You mean to tell me that I've been drinkin' what I thought was a solid IPA all these months, and it's a pale ale? Citrus hops rise above malts here.
T-This tastes great. Great fruityness, nice malt profile, and this is the hoppiest pale ale I ever had, so I'm a fan. It gets even better as it warms. This bad boy is dry-hopped, and as I'm a huge fan of dry-hopping, it's obviously delicious.
M-Great mouthfeel, good carbonation, fizzy/effervescent, starts thin when real cold, ends almost light/medium body, with an dryish astringent puckering finish. Love it, can I have another?
D-Supreme drinkability. I could session this all night.
CRUX: GREAT HOPPY PALE ALE SESSION BEER. I like this classic better than their other classic (Anchor Steam.) Serious position in the DBF this summer. Great out of the bottle, too....
