Reviewed from notes. Had on-tap at the Rapp tasting room. Served in a pilsner glass.
Described by the brewery as a hybrid of a Southern English Brown and a Dunkelweizen.

A: A somewhat hazy medium brown with some chill haze. Has a thin white head and a good amount of visible carbonation.

S: Rich sweet brown malts, toasted nut bread, hints of grassy hops, and just hints of clove and allspice.

T: The malt bill leads the way - toasted brown malts up front, with a modestly sweet character, and some nutty brown malt flavor. Some restrained noble hops (grassy, herbal, floral) near the end with a moderate level of bitterness.

M: Smooth slick mouthfeel, medium body. Carbonation sensation on the low side and minimal alcohol presence.

O: An enjoyable beer, essentially a tasty brown ale. A combination of malt-forward beers, but the hops aren't absent here. Not sure how to rate this to style, but it was good. (914 characters)

Appearance: Arrives root beer brown with a nice head that leaves dots and shards behind

Smell: Caramel, chocolate and peanut

Taste: The caramel, chocolate and peanut flavors arrive early and persist, though the peanut elements grow into the finish

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: A Snickers in a beer, this is a very creative, tasty and interesting beer (383 characters)
