Pours a deep garnet brown with some wispy bubbles the disperse to a halo very quick. Smell is briny, meaty and robust dark fruits- a holiday pie sort of palate, with a jammy, plummy tang. Taste is a salty and tart draw, roasted grains, hints of leather, smoke, and some herbal, earthy notes. Feel is soft, probably a result of the time in the bottle, which carries the flavors well. Solid roasty sour!
