A: Dark brown, large khaki pillowy head that stuck around for a bit.
S: Red wine, dark cherries, bready malts, slight musty quality to it as well. Hints of acidity.
T: Red wine comes through right upfront, slightly boozy as it transitions to the bready malts. Nice tartness upfront and lingering in the aftertaste.
M: Big mouthfeel, while a lot of head the carbonation is low on the tongue so you get a big body on this one.
O: I like it, but the mouthfeel was a little bit heavy for my tastes. I've head a number of high abv beers that didn't feel quite so big. It's a good beer but for me I couldn't drink more than one pour.
