750 mL bottle poured into a snifter.

Appearance - Hazy yellow body. Big white head. Thick collar.

Smell - Yeasty. Lightly lemony. White wine and oak.

Taste - Bright lemon. Grainy. White wine builds up and adds some sweetness in the back end. Very light tartness.

Mouthfeel - Medium light body. Wine accentuates the body. Medium carbonation.

Overall - Had this at the end of the night, which was probably foolish. Nice beer, but perhaps I missed some of its nuances.

A-Cloudy yellow, some carbonation and one finger white fluffy head

S-Some lemon, mild funk, a little bit of salt. Tad wheat.

T-Mainly lemon and wheat. A little bit of the corriander sneaks in. Mild salt and mild funk.

M-Medium to lighter, not much carbonation.

O-There are much better Goses out there.

A hazy, light straw yellow with a dense white head, this looks good. The nose is brilliant. Bright, sour, focused, with a blend of funk, earth, mushrooms, a touch of sulfur, salt and coriander all on a wheaty, bready base, this smells excellent. The palate mirrors these flavor notes, with the robust wheat base, dextrinous and lending a backbone for the lactic and Bretty flavors. Refreshing. Very nice.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark pumpkin color with a fluffy white head. Aroma is stone fruits and mild saltiness, funk and banana. Flavor is vivid dried apricots with mild coriander and brine. Really fruity, brett C, high carbonation, dry finish. Really came together well.

750ml bottle shared at the Malt House while waiting for Great Taste tickets.

Pours a hazy golden, yellow body, two finger white head with good retention and a medium-sized collar. Not much lacing. Smells of citrus and lemon, a fair amount of wheat, a bit of spice, not particularly salty. Flavour is wheat-forward, moderate lemon, coriander is quite strong here, not a ton of sea salt here. Mild graininess as well. I suspect there is some white wine in here as well, but easily could be wrong. Nice tartness, but not acidic. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, fluffy and soft, good carbonation, incredibly refreshing and easy to drink. Overall, it is on the sweeter, vinous and fruitier side than typical Gose's; it is lacking a bit on the salt component but for what it lacks it makes up in terms of the sweetness and spices without compromising drinkability and crispness. A very solid Gose.

750ml bottle poured into a Sante Adairius snifter. Enjoyed on 3.7.15, reviewed from Tasting Journal.

The beer pours a hazy golden yellow, pale and mellow, minor activity in the glass, with a finger or so of soapy white head, nice retention and a decent amount of spotted lace. The aroma is of tart lemon, sea salt, mild funk, lightly acidic and sour grapefruit with a touch of wildflower and earthy pale wheat. The flavors are more acidic, lemon and citrus, pale wheat, mustiness, wildflower with a bit of a sea salt bite, all in all a nicely balanced presentation. The mouthfeel is lively, zippy, decent carbonation, coating with a creamy finish and a medium body that is heavier than anticipated.

Verdict: A very nice take on the Gose from Sante Adairius, simple and balanced, refreshing with pleasant bright qualities. I would love to enjoy this in quantity during the summer months.

Thanks Moll. Hazy yellow body with a quarter inch of white head. Salt, celery, wheat, sunshine. Light in body, but not thin. Salty, yet refreshing. Light fruity notes. Quite tasty.

Salty poo. Better after 10 minutes in the glass to air out, but still nothing to write home about.

One of the best takes on a gose I have encountered. Neon yellow/orange with floral and citrus right away. Ever so slightly funky. Not as salty as some other contenders, but the sea salt is there. All around solid.
