Pours pale yellow, straw colored. Quite cloudy. Medium white head. Lots of small bubbles. Aroma is earthy with a very nice saison yeast character. Mild lemons. Some rye spice. Very grain-ish flavor. It almost has an oaty quality to it. Light, refreshing taste. Lots of grain but still fairly dry. The grain variety is quite interesting. There's significantly more depth than a regular saison. Lots of bready notes bouncing around. Feel is light and creamy. Very nice light saison.

Reviewed from notes. On tap at the brewery.
A: Pours a hazy straw yellow with a thin (1/4") white head which fades slowly and leaves spotty lace.
N: Saison yeast, peppery spices, slightly vinous notes.
T: Grainy, yeasty, rye and cracked pepper spice. Fairly straight forward saison with a touch of lemony citrus freshness.
M: Semi-moderate body and semi-medium carbonation. Clean and crisp yeasty and peppery finish.
O: Refreshingly rustic and very drinkable in the countryside of Capitola. Would have again.
