Thanks to familynight (Reddit) for this one, shared with rudzud and threelions.

Light fizzy like head, hazy golden color.

Nose nice funk, saison farmhouse notes, lemon rind tartness, citrus notes, mild funk, little peach tangerine like fruity aromas, juicy.

Taste juicy fruit, tangerine and peach like, juicy, little grainy malt, saison funk, effervescent, fluffy, light funky saison, lemongrass, tartness, etc. Mild toasted oak, vanilla pudding notes, tartness, etc. Finish sticky flemmy tart, lemony, mild funk, delicious.

Mouth light mouth, light carb, sticky, etc.

Overall very nice. (595 characters)

Batch 3 poured into Sante Adairius tulip.

Appearance is a pale gold color, with fizzy thin white head that settles quickly. Leaves behind little bubble masses mostly towards the edges and center of glass. Gorgeous carbonation bubbles streaming upward letting you know there will be some scrubbing action on the palate. 4.75

Aroma is very much deeply rooted in the barrel aged saison style. White and red wine, deep Brett funk, tropical citrus mainly pineapple and mango with a little juicy peach and sweet lemon in the mix. Some earthy oak, flowers, and blueberries come forth as well. Wow.. 4.75

The flavor is again highly leaning towards barrel aged saison territory but the lines have blurred so much nowadays it could go either way. Has tons of wine and grape flavors, orange pith, tart raspberry, some spicy yeast esters, deep oak, and "rustic", flowery funk. Very toned down on PH level. Greatness on all levels. 4.75

Mouthfeel is on the light end. Body is airy with just the right amount of carbonation for the style. And the finish is bone dry with the tartness being it's most agressive mid to late palate. 4.75

Sante does it again. Brilliant and from what I've heard batch 1 is the best. This is a bit better than batch 2. Unfortunately I missed out on 1. This reminds me a bit of Handfarm or CD6 but with a better mouthfeel, and flavors that I enjoyed a bit more. Let there be more breweries like SARA, HF, JK, SP, TH, RR, AA, and LA. That way I won't have to constantly be trading for it, rather just purchase direct. #farmhousefetish (1,555 characters)

This is a hard beer to give a blanket rating to.

There have been five(?) bottled batches thus far and they have all been different. That's kind of the point of this beer. To bottle the current state of the cask, to document where the ale once was. For this to only have one score seems a bit silly to me, yet here we are.

Recently, a few friends and I drank all of the versions (including variants) so I feel uniquely qualified to pass judgement here.

Batch one: near perfect. hints of vanilla, not overly sour. The most 'honest' if you will.
Batch two: I think this was my favorite, surpassed one in complexity, but that's expected with the style. Feels a bit more like an american wild than batch one (which is a rant for another time [this beer is not an american wild])
Batch three: after batch two, this let me down. A bit more champagne-like than expected, very dry, certainly not bad, just felt less like a sante saison than I'm used to.
Batch four: not sure what's up with the even number batches, but this was nearly as good as two.
Batch five: felt too young, but I won't be surprised when it's up to par with batch four.

I like this beer. (1,153 characters)
