Unable to read date, bottle at 50 degrees into snifter
Head average (4 cm), white, frothy, slowly diminishing to 2 mm layer
Lacing very good, thick wide rings of small bubbles
Body golden, hazy
Flavor begins sweet with some yeast phenolics and light sweet malt. A bitterness appears on aftertaste. No alcohol, no hops, no diacetyl.
Palate light, watery, lively carbonation

A: Cloudy and slightly orange in color. Lots of foamy soapy head. Lacing and retention are great.
S: Belgian yeast and some hops. Noble in variety. Very strong aroma that manages to prep the nose before the palate.
T: Good saison character. The spicy phenols are there. Nice sweet malt body but not overpowering. It's balanced nicely with the hops which also impart their own flavor. Slightly spicy maybe a bit herbal with some citrus zest. Everything is well tied together making the beer very drinkable and nothing is too overpowering. Maybe a touch tart as well.
M: Crisp and very drinkable. Light bodied but not overly so, just perfect for the style.
O: Pretty good beer. Maybe a touch to expensive for my liking though. I'd gladly drink another but don't know if i'd pay for it.

Huge thanks to ricochet173 for providing this beer on a great night in Montreal.
A: An exceptionally clear pour of pale gold with 5 fingers of big fluffy white head. Head lingers for long time and completely covers the sides of the glass with clumps of billowy lacing.
S: Yeasty bread together with light spices of white pepper and dry mineralness.
T: Yeasty bread together with light spices of white pepper. Middle notes of dry crisp mineralness and finishes with a slight bitterness that lingers.
M: Clean, dry and refreshing. Surprisingly thick mouthfeel for a saison which I quite enjoy.
O: Another exceptional beer from Charleboix. This drinks similar to a Riesling and is well worth seeking out.

A - Light golden pour with strong carbonation. Huge three finger fluffy white head. Big chunks of white soap-like lace and a finger of retention.
S - Lemon, yeast, pear.
T - A little bit of sweet baking spice, lemon, yeast. Interesting and tasty, but a bit heavy on the spice esters. A little banana is there too.
M - Strong carbonation, medium creamy body and a sweet baking spice dryness.
O/D - A fairly straightforward and well done saison. The style is sort of plain in it's purest form, but this executes, the light, refreshing elements of it.

Poured into a tulip glass, produces a large rocky white head, good retention and curtain lacing. Colour is a clear bright yellow gold. Nice film. 4
S – a kick of very vineous yeast aroma, bright and woody, with a clean biscuit malt, a clay mineral and cherry note, only moderate spiciness, some earthy pepper, the yeast is the star here, with some funky citrus, tons of character, and a dry profile. 4
T – juicy with dry notes of mango, kiwi, lemon, and a pleasant balanced yeast, lots of juicy upfront brightness, clean biscuit malt, some bubblegum and florals. Finishes dry with strong attenuation, light lingering spice. Nice transition from super juicy to a dry and crisp finish with lots of balanced character. 4.25
M – moderate refreshing body, light carbonation with a nice acidity to it. Yeasty spiciness is clean and refreshing. Eminently drinkable with a flavourful body and crisp finish. 4
A very flavourful and tasty interpretation, really nice levels of yeasty spice, slight amounts of noble hops, a very traditional but complex interpretation of the style. A very solid Belgian style interpretation, refreshing and spicy. Highly recommended, very strong interpretation. 4.25
