This is a small neighborhood style taproom (maybe seats 15-20), I don't think you'll find many people traveling across town to go here. They have a modest tap list, I almost never order draft here because they usually don't have anything I find interesting (although on occasion they do). This may change once they become more established and are able to get better kegs (we'll see, I still have high hopes).

Half the bottle selection is wine and the other half beer. In reality they should probably dump the wine and add more beer, I think I've only seen a few people order wine (could be wrong). Their bottle selection (beer) is decent but not great (just above average for Portland). It's all pretty much year round beers, I think I've only ever seen a few seasonal offerings. I'd go here over a regular grocery store to pick up my beer any day, except for Wholefoods (Pearl) it has a better selection. They always stock Alesmith, which is mainly what keeps me going back.

I'd say it's totally worth going to if you live in the neighborhood.

This place is awesome!!! I am a huge beer geek/collector and stumbling across Caps & Corks was the highlight of my trip. The beer selection is solid and the atmosphere is perfect for drinking some kind beers. It’s located on 17th and Lovejoy, right in the heart of NW Portland. The neighborhood is backed full of shopping, bars and restaurants and now that it has a proper beer bar it is complete. Sean, the bartender, was very friendly and knowledgeable. It’s was a pleasure talking to someone so rooted in the beer community. I can wait for my next visit.
