A: The beer is crystal clear yellow in color and has a slight amount of carbonation. It poured with a thin white head that quickly died down and left a thin film of bubbles on the surface and a thin ring of bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: There are faint aromas of corn and grainy malts in the nose.
T: The taste is a little stronger than the smell and has light flavors of adjunct malts—corn seems to stand out in particular. There are some hints of bitterness towards the finish.
M: It feels light-bodied on the palate and has a light to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer isn’t overly flavorful, but it probably be a good accompaniment to Chinese food if you were looking for something other than water to help wash down spicy dishes.

A: Pours a crystal clear yellow in color with some light visible carbonation. The beer has a half finger tall white head that reduces to a very thin layer over the entire surface of the beer and a thicker + wide ring at the edges of the glass. Very light lacing is observed.

S: Slight hints of skunkiness in the aroma likely due to being in a green glass bottle. The aroma is sweet with hints of grainy malts but very faint overall.

T: The flavor of this beer is also pretty light, not as strong as others in the style. I get quite a bit of grainy malts with some light sweetness and just the lightest hint of some hop bitterness in the finish.

M: Light bodied with moderate to high carbonation. Slightly thin/watery.

O: Not bad, I kind of equate this beer to the Heineken of China... especially because of the slightly skunky smell due to the green bottle. This beer is light and easy enough to drink but not anything special. I will likely has this again but not because I have a really high opinion of it.

Appearance: It has a pale straw yellow color to it. It has a white head that dies down fast and leaves no lacing.

Smell: The aromas give out hints of a skunkiness, corn and grassy hops.

Taste: It has a light grainy/bready malt character, with some corn and some grassy hops.

Mouthfeel: It has a low carbonation with a thin watery balance and feel.

Drinkability: It's a very smooth drinkable beer accompanied with bland flavors and aromas.

Note: At a (rather unusual) blind tasting, I claimed that this was one of the worst things I've ever tasted. As a result, I got a bottle to bring home.

Consumed 3/16/12

Appearance: Very pale, golden yellow color - wispy, small white head, disappears quickly but actually leaves some lacing

Smell: Basically the definition of skunk - I guess this may be intentional, hence the green bottle - underneath the light-struck aroma, there isn't much else - faint grains, faint biscuits, but the most prevalent aroma is dextrose - seriously, like a bag of dextrose

Taste: Thankfully, better than the aroma - lots of dextrose, lightly bready, with some slight grain notes, corn, rice - despite the skunky aroma, there really aren't a lot of off-flavors - but there aren't really any flavors, period - mostly just tastes like sugar water

Mouthfeel: Actually pretty good, considering - light, but nicely carbonated and smooth

Overall: Not the worst thing I've ever had, but not good

Despite the smell, this isn't really that offensive. It's too sweet, and utterly lacks taste. It has the body of an American adjunct lager with about as much (or less flavor) as a light lager. I don't know when I would ever drink this again, but I must once again note that this isn't awful. Just bad.

12oz bottle into a pint glass.

Pours a clear medium yellow with a small fizzy head that fades away to nothing.

Smells like a bottled skunk. Once that fades there is strong metallic corn. A bit sweet.

Taste is grainy corn and a bit of metal. Very light hop bitterness that lingers through the finish. Mouthfeel is pretty watery.

Overall a pretty poor beer. I have had worse, though.
