On tap at Volo. Dark with a little head. Aroma smelled something off. Not too drinkable, some alcohol and sourish.Aroma neutral at best. Not the style. Carbonation and mouthfeel were acceptable. Chocolate malts, and some astringent berries, and roasted malt.

Deep brown colour, near black, medium ring of eggshell coloured head, some lace on the glass. Smell is malty, lightly sweet caramel scents, toffee, light alcohol, dark fruits, some chocolate is picked up from time to time, nutty with and underlying yeastiness. Taste has chewy malt up front, darker fruit, caramel and toffee, chocolate, alcohol in taste as this warmed a little, no real hop quality but there were some leafy flavours I picked up towards the end of the glass. Light carbonation, light body, thin and a little watery. This was quite an easy drinker to be honest, a little more body would make this a little more enjoyable but it wasn't bad as is. I look forward to trying more stuff from these guys in the coming months.
