If you're in Midtown and people want to go out, this is probably the best you're going to do in that neighborhood as far as selection is concerned. The ambience just depends on the weather. Sitting outside is great when the weather cooperates, but it is miserable on a very hot day. And the inside is very "blah". The drink prices are pretty fair and standard. I have no qualms about the service. Basically, if you can't make it to Beer Sellar or Flying Saucer, this is the best bet you'll have.

This bar seemed a fine place to stop in the earlier part of a saturday evening, as I was looking forward to finding a good selection in this town. My expectations had already been calibrated for TN, so the menu served us well for a couple of rounds with a lengthy tap list. Mostly standard american micro styles represented, with just a few bigger beers available by 10 oz. snifter.

The atmosphere was fun on the patio...for the macro drinkers there. Sports bar vibe with darts and multiple tvs. Weather was nice, so I was comfy, but didn't feel the need to linger. Our server basically did what was necessary, no more. The prices were quite reasonable, closer to what might be happy hour prices where i'm from. Maybe less, so for that reason, I wouldn't be opposed to returning if i'm in town.

Let's just call this what it is...A BMC college bar with a nice selection of craft beers on draft.

Smoking is allowed and despite the ancient wagon wheel aerators, it does become an issue for non-smokers on a busy Saturday night. Maybe in the Summer time when the garage doors are open, it would be more tolerable, but not in the winter.

Service was average. Two bartenders to handle the entire bar was a little on the understaffed side, but they did everything they could to keep up.

Local offerings included Yazoo, Jack-A-Lope and Blackstone's. Approximately 10-15 craft specific taps were noticed including these notables: Schlafly, Southern Tier, Lips of Faith, Lagunitas among others.

Didn't have any food, but between the smoke and stale bar smell, I can't imagine this would be my first choice to eat in Nashville with so many other delectable options.

As another reviewer stated, this is not a bad place to go to if you are stranded in the Midtown area, but there are several other options that are more better suited to the craft beer enthusiast.
