Notes/Commercial Description:
S'more Money S'more Problems came out of the brain of Friends With Benefits member Keith Lonergan. With Keith's help we mashed this behemoth in with copious amounts of chocolate malt, roasted barley, golden naked oats and crushed graham crackers. Then, after primary fermentation was finished we added cacao nibs, vanilla bean and natural marshmallow flavor. The resulting beer is a big, chewy, dark nectar reminiscent of our days in Cub Scouts; sitting around the campfire, drinking imperial stouts. Great now or after a prolonged camping trip in the back of your temperature controlled bottle camp site.

Pours really thick solid black in color with little to no head on a hard pour.

Smell is malt forward, primarily chocolate and cracker malt aromas. Vanilla and a fair amount of smoke are the dominating aromas in the mid section and biggest components of the smell. A very faint grassy hop aroma is in the finish.

Taste is very sweet with chocolate caramel and vanilla flavors forward before a mild earthy bitterness cuts through the middle. More chocolate and a very light almost undetectable amount of smoke in the finish and exhale.

Mouthfeel is thick. Very sticky and little carbonation makes this a sipping beer. Very heavy body that coats the mouth fully and stays well after the swallow

Appearance is standard high-quality high ABV stout. Smell is heaven. You really get the smell of s'mores; chocolate, graham cracker, marshmallow, sugar. All that was missing was some smoke or wood for the complete camping experience. Taste... a bit more disappointing. Ashy chocolate, sugar, cream, dark malt, and heavy grain alcohol taste with the graham cracker undetectable. Strange minty/herbal taste that distracts a little. Medium alcohol burn. Mouthfeel is smooth and heavy. Clean. Could use less carbonation; felt a little bubbly.

O - Good stout, different. Did a side-by-side tasting with this and Dinos'mores from Off-Color, and everyone at the tasting agreed the latter was the victor. Still, it's a good stout when you're in the mood for something different.
