22 ounce bottle into a snifter. Bottled 12/1/17, had 4/4/18.

Pours a dark brown, opaque, with a quarter inch foamy head and some foamy lacing. Aromas of mint, chocolate, malt, caramel, toffee, light vanilla. The taste is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, light mint, hint of vanilla. The mint really hits more in the aftertaste. Smooth, a solid full body, well carbonated.

Starts with a good base beer, which always helps. The mint is subtle, but good, and it really should be more prominent in both the aroma and flavor. Worth a purchase at a decent price point.

Aroma is mint, dark bread and slightly nutty. The flavor is mint, mild fruit, dark malts, dark bread and a long and very acidic/slightly sour finish.

Looking for a light and well balance stout that tastes like a thin mint? Then do not get this. I love the abduction series, but this one was a disappointment. Taste was an overly acid-boozy mess that was attempted to be covered up by way too much mint and not enough dark chocolate. Balance seemed off, even the mouthfeel was more syrupy than normal for abduction series.

Pours opaque, dark brown in color with minimal head. Taste is girls scout mint chocolate cookie with an extra dose of fudge. Heavy bodied, sweet, with moderate carbonation. The additional flavors (mint) comes out more in this beer than other Abductions. Really tasty dessert beer. On the Southern Tier level for dessert beers.

Jet black. Low head. Very toasty and get lots of chocolate on the nose. A little bit boozy on the back end. Like the feel very creamy. Get very little mint on either the nose or taste. That said still love Pipeworks.

Blackish brown color with a wispy tan head that fades in a few seconds

Scent was very boozy with chocolate and artificial mint. The combination of booze and mint on the nose is almost harsh when you take a sip

Taste was boozy even for a stout of this strength. The chocolate and coffee notes of this beer are overpowered by cloying artificial mint flavor.

Mouthfeel was syrupy

By far the worst pipeworks beer ive had and ive been a huge fan of almost everything they've made. the bomber was shared among 4 people who are experienced beer drinkers and nobody wanted to finish it.
