"I don't think these aliens are thaaat bad. What's that you ask? They don't like you? They keep trying to abduct you? I mean maybe we've all just been brainwashed by Hollywood alien invasion movies and the Pipeworks Abduction series into thinking aliens just want to abduct us. Has anyone even tried to talk to them? Here, I'll go bring them a Pipeworks Mocha Imperial Stout with coffee and rich chocolate. This beer is amazing. Yeah, and then I'll make small talk about the new Star Wars trailer."

Pours viscous and pitch black in color. Thin tan creamy head dissipates to a tan ring around the glass.

Smell is malt forward mostly chocolate aromas with some faint coffee like aroma and a big rich vanilla aroma. There are also fleeting hints of dark fruit aromas mix in as well.

Taste follows the nose with loads of semi sweet chocolate malt and a creamy vanilla flavor. There is slightly more coffee flavors present in the taste then in the aroma and it adds a nice amount of charred bitterness to balance out the sweet.

Mouthfeel is great. Rich creamy medium carbonated. Velvety smooth with a little bit of warming alcohol. (630 characters)

True to Pipeworks form, right on the brink of over the top but great in an in your face way. Sweet chocolate milk with a little coffee poured in. Leaves me craving a little thicker mouthfeel. Otherwise, very good. (213 characters)

Exceptional chocolate and espresso flavor. The body is what makes this beer it reminds me of melted chocolate. (110 characters)

Pours a diesel thick opaque black with a very thin caramel brown head.

Heavy on the dark chocolate, roasted malt nuttiness, and espresso.

A little too heavy on the chocolate, roasted malts are lacking, and coffee is dull.

Mouthfeel is thick on the heavy, like sipping a chocolate malt.

Overall this is decent, but I feel could have been better. (348 characters)

Thanks to Aaron for sharing this one!

Inky black with a naturally mocha tan tint to the foam on top. Flecks of spotty lacing around the edges.

Big vanilla and coffee aromas, slightly sweet with a coffee brownie impression.

Similar flavors, flavored coffee, mocha and vanilla notes are spot on. Light coffee bitterness, fudgy chocolate, lingering charred malt. Sticky on the lips. Body seems a little thinner due to the coffee addition. Overall it tastes great, definitely worth a try. (489 characters)
