Pours viscous and pitch black in color. Thin tan creamy head dissipates to a tan ring around the glass.
Smell is malt forward mostly chocolate aromas with some faint coffee like aroma and a big rich vanilla aroma. There are also fleeting hints of dark fruit aromas mix in as well.
Taste follows the nose with loads of semi sweet chocolate malt and a creamy vanilla flavor. There is slightly more coffee flavors present in the taste then in the aroma and it adds a nice amount of charred bitterness to balance out the sweet.
Mouthfeel is great. Rich creamy medium carbonated. Velvety smooth with a little bit of warming alcohol.

Thanks to Aaron for sharing this one!
Inky black with a naturally mocha tan tint to the foam on top. Flecks of spotty lacing around the edges.
Big vanilla and coffee aromas, slightly sweet with a coffee brownie impression.
Similar flavors, flavored coffee, mocha and vanilla notes are spot on. Light coffee bitterness, fudgy chocolate, lingering charred malt. Sticky on the lips. Body seems a little thinner due to the coffee addition. Overall it tastes great, definitely worth a try.

22 oz. bottle, with Batch #435/36/37 printed on the label. The latest Abduction stout variant from the masters at Pipeworks. Expectations are amazing based on this knowledge. Good thing I'm here to pick up the slack for all these non-reviewers.
Poured into a Duvel tulip.
A - Pours a dark fudgey chocolate brown, nearly opaque in the glass with some brown hues showing around the edges. A finger and a half of mocha head that thins to a ring rather quickly. Scattered sticky spotty lacing on the glass. Definitely looks like a coffee beer, very nice.
S - Freshly brewed coffee / spent coffee grounds are very apparent on this one. Cacao, vanilla, cream, mild lactose, & mild alcohol fumes are also noticeable.
T - The taste follows the nose - delicious authentic roasted coffee beans / coffee ground bitterness, powdery chocolate / cacao, creamy vanilla / mild lactose, and some mild alcohol presence. Delicious.
M - The feel is creamy , sticky, and smooth with good roasty coffee bitterness clinging to the palate.
Overall, another delicious stout variant from Pipeworks. Not the greatest rendition of this beer, but very delicious nonetheless. Very coffee forward, almost Surly Coffee Bender status. Highly recommended.
