We originally brewed Just Drink It, Dummy for our tap takeover at Emporium Arcade Bar in Wicker Park as a one off, but we really dug the beer (it's a double IPA with sorachi ace hops) so we decided to make more! The label "art" comes from "Strong" Mike Schallau. Puns puns puns....

Poured from 22 oz bottle into an IPA glass.
Look: Pours a rich, translucent amber color. Two finger head for good measure, small white lace remains around the edges as you drink.
Smell: Smells of an orange bitterness mixed with a malt character, with a bit of alcohol to boot.
Taste: Orange and pine mix with a hoppy bitterness. Other minor citrus flavors present. Slightly alcoholic taste, less than you might expect from an 8% DIPA.
Overall: I enjoyed this beer a lot more than I anticipated that I might. The literature about the aroma and flavor profile of Ace Sorachi hops, along with the name of the beer, might ward someone off. However, this one is definitely worth the buy, especially at the price point. A very solid DIPA, good for those who prefer straight-forward hoppy IPA's.

Burnt orange body with a white halo of foam and active carbonation. Tons of hops, pine, orange, guava, wild flower, and toffee malts. Taste has orange nectar with pine and general wood infused, plus some tropical fruit, especially pineapple and mango. Very bitter, percolating, astringent, slightly cloying, and woody in feel. Odd but solid

An interesting occasional entry in the Pipeworks IPA catalogue. Pours orangeish with a full finger of head, nothing out of the ordinary. Pineapple, plum, melon, and bamboo on the nose. Malt sweetness, cantaloupe, lemongrass, cat paws, and a touch of hop sharpness on the palate. Moderately full mouthfeel for 8% ABV.

22 ounce bottle into a snifter. Bottled 8/19/16, had 9/25/16.
Pours a bright orange, somewhat cloudy, with a one inch foamy head, fair amount of soapy lacing. The smell is a generally citrus aroma- orange, lemon, some lime, some resin, yeast, light malt, a little funk underneath. The taste gives up a lot more lemon and orange than the nose, some lime and mango, some resin, yeast, malt- lighter than the usual PW DIPA, a hint of dill. A good amount of hop bitterness throughout. Smooth, crisp, refreshing, a solid but lighter than usual body for PW, well carbonated.
Really good flavor, I really like the Sorachi Ace hops. Not as intense as many of their double IPA's and not as fragrant as I expected, but the more I drank, the more I liked this. Well balanced between the hops and malt. Well worth a purchase the next time it comes around.

Pours a golden orange color with a finger of beige foam with good retention. Slight chill haze. Aroma is of over-ripe passion fruit, the hops have a very herbal quality to them. This a a very unique profile for a DIPA that I would like to explore further. There is a dominant dill flavor in the taste and well balanced biscuit like maltiness. In any other ratio I would say that these flavors do not work together, but the ratio here is spot on and allows flavor components to stand on there own and with eachother. There are background notes of orange, pineapple, and resinous hop bitterness that add to the overall unique taste experience this beer offers. The body is satisfyingly balanced with the taste and coates the mouth just enough to fully appreciate the flavors without allowing them to linger too long.
