Great pale golden color, and fantastic funky smell from the saison yeast. Maybe the bottle I had was old but the citra hop seemed almost non-existent. However it was a good funky saison regardless.

Straightforward Citra saison right here. Aroma of peppercorns, lemon zest and funky saison yeast. Taste follows the peppercorns, saison yeast mixed with the Citra hops create clean citrus and pomme fruit flavors.

22oz bottle split between a pair of big chalices. No date that I can find, aside from the 2015 copyright.
Pours hazy pale golden with a huge head, and lots of carbonation. Smell is spicy, funky, and citrus. Kind of a strange combination, but not bad.
Taste is heavy funk, a little citrus brightness. More of the spiciness, but not that much. Something fluffy about it.
Mouthfeel is light and fluffy. Overall, refreshing, interesting beer, though not stellar.

Look: slightly cloudy golden hues, 3 fingers of white head.
Smell: Citra hops absolutely dominate the nose. I love Citra hops, so that is most welcome.
Taste: the prototypical saison yeast is present, the Citra hops are present, but it's just a smidge thin.
Feel: bubbly, dry goodness.
Overall: very nice by Pipeworks, just wish there was a bit more oooomph behind this. Still a great sipper on a warm fall night in Minnesota.
