Served this 22 oz. brown bottle in a Tripel Karmeliet glass. Batch 25. The body was lightly hazy and orange/apricot colored. Minimal lacing.
The smell had tons of pine and citrus. Floral and fresh.
The taste was creamy sweet, and powerfully hoppy. Juicy with enough malts to carry the aspiriny drying bitterness. The bright, piercing bitterness lingers after the initial sweetness. Tropical fruits. Unique DIPA. Very tasty. Alcohol is well hidden.
The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Some alcohol sting.
