Appearance: Pours a dark golden-straw body with a generous head. Nice lacing on the glass.
Smell: Grainy and earthy with some floral notes.
Taste: A bit of citrus fruit is balanced with a grainy malt backbone. Definitely a grass/earth bitterness as it finishes.
Mouthfeel: Light-medium body, well-carbonated, and a dry finish.
Overall: I didn't get the fruity hop character that I've experienced with most Pipeworks beers and it left me slightly disappointed. Too grainy for me.

(Served in a tulip glass)
Batch 43
A- This beer pours a deep orange body with a rocky light beige head that takes up half the glass. It sticks to the class in sheets and is supported by a tiny carbonation.
S- The plastic note turns into a new sneaker hint and is taken over by a slight yeasty green hop aroma that finishes with a bit of a caramel malt hint popping through.
T- The spicy hops note leads to a creamy pale malt flavor that changes to a green pungent hop finish. There is some woody hop character to the finish with a cardamom quality to the hops as it opens.
M- This beer has a medium mouthfeel with a tight little fizz in the finish.
O- This is a nice easy sipping pale ale with a spicy pungent hop flavor that takes on an odd plastic smell. This just got put on the shelves at the local Binny’s and I didn’t realize it was from batch 43 until I cracked it open. I hope to find a fresher sample and re review.
