A: Lighter shade of copper. Light haze. Forms a creamy, off-white head that reduces down to a thick, stable surface coating. Leaves some moderate lacing.
S: Aromatic and full of Citra hops. I guess no one should be surprised when I say this one is full citrus aroma. Mostly orange, with lemon to a lesser extent. Mango and tropical fruit play a role as well. Smells like candy.
T: Quite similar to the aroma. Fairly sweet, to the point of almost being candy-like with the sweetness coming from both the malts and in perception from the Citra hops. Orange, grapefruit, mango, and fruit salad, with a touch of lemon. A bit of alcoholic spice on the back end.
M: On the heavier side of medium with appropriate carbonation. Sweet, but not at all cloying. Moderate bitterness.
O: Overall, a very good beer; one of the best DIPAs I've come across recently. And typically I do not care for the sweeter DIPAs, but, for obvious reasons, this one just works.
