Also known as Unicorn Galaxy

Our friends south of the equator really have this hop growing thing figured out and we are ecstatic they do. Without them we couldn't bring you Unicorn Galaxy. We built a platform of malted barley and wheat then atop that we constructed our ode to Galaxy hops. The hop character really shines through with aromas and flavors of tropical fruit, tangerine, citrus, passion fruit and fresh cut grass. Drink early, drink often.

You've got to let this one get closer to room temperature before the flavor really opens up. That's true of many beers, but there something akin to a night and day difference from when this first hit the glass and when it had sat for a while.

I got a 4pck of cans of this beer from my local beer store located just around the corner. It poured a clear golden with thin white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had wonderful pineapple notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright sweet malt base with fresh pineapple presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

This brewer was new to me until a recent encounter with an excellent light pale ale, so I was happy to see this at my vendor last week. I'm glad I bought two cans.

It pours a deep golden with fine head. The aroma builds with warming to a fragrant hoppy bouquet. The taste is exceptional. Loads of malts don't come over thick, and are nicely balanced by a delicious hops bomb. It all goes down almost creamy - a perfect, easy sip or gulp.

Highly recommended. Brew #2 for me from Pipeworks is even better than the first. I am saddened by the thought that this brew has been out for 10 years and this is the first I've scored.

16oz can, date stamped 11/20/19. Thanks to Derek for giving me a can to try! Hazy peach colored body is capped with a foamy ivory colored head. Huge hop aroma of mango, citrus, and pine. Flavors equally huge with more piney mango, orangey citrus, lemon-lime, and passion fruit along with a light caramel malt base with a touch of honey. Full resinous body, ample carbonation, alcohol is warming, assertive bitterness with a lingering piney bitterness. Wow - awesome beer!

L: gold with a light haze under a 2" white cap with good retention.

S: dank smell blending melon, onion, garlic, citrus and topical fruit

T: fruit, melon, citrus and alcohol with a trace of caramel and a hint of onion and ditch-weed

F: exceptionally creamy texture, a medium body and very soft and luscious carbonation

O: The rich creamy texture really makes this beer stand out. As an added bonus it is big, flavorful, bitter and alcoholic.

Nothing special on the look and smell. The taste an feel is amazing. The description is accurate; citrus, fruit, and other stuff, but the galaxy hops power through and make it unique. This is well beyond average.

Pours an effervescent amber with 2 fingers of eggshell colored head. Epic head retention & lacing

S: Breadyness, a little pineapple

T: Cakeyness, pineapple, mango up front, along with dryess & pine up front. Grapefruit & dried pineapple mingle with cakey dryness as this warms. Finishes dry with with pineapple, and grapefruit

MF: Chewy, fairly firm carbonation. Carbonation smooths as this warms, lovely balance

Drinks easy for the heft & complexity, well put together DIPA
