22 oz bomber into a teku glass. Batch #96. Huge thanks to bstyle!
A - Pours a hazy dark brown color, appears more of a burnt amber under light but god damn is it a dark IPA. Two fingers of white foam with some orange edging. Sticky lacing.
S - Whole lotta pine initially but cut through by some ripe tropical fruit and bitter grapefruit. The finish is candy like with honey drenched caramel malts. Kind of a musky earthy thing working through the whole nose, really unique. Does smell a bit boozy.
T - Quite bitter with a mixture of pine, tropical fruit, and some floral/grassy elements. Sweet honey and caramel malts on the finish. Like a hoppy caramel tropical fruit candy. A bit too boozy though. Creamy mouth feel.
O - Not sure how old this beer is now, but its damn good. A bit too boozy but the unique candy and floral aspects totally make up for it.
