750 ml bottle poured into a Darkness snifter bottle number 182 out of ?

A- Pours a pitch black color, no light gets through whatsoever. One finger brown head, dissipates to a think brown ring around the glass. Lacing is very sticky, coats the glass.
S- The aroma is very nice, cocoa, chocolate upfront, slight roast, the raspberries come out as it warms up, really like the fruit notes combined with the cocoa roast.
T- The taste is really nice as well, chocolatey sweetness upfront, the raspberries are subtle but are present in the back end. Roasty bitterness as it goes down, pretty rich.
M- Big mouthfeel, coats your palate, smooth as it goes down, and filling. The alcohol is no where to be seen. Dry finish.
O- Im very impressed with this beer. My first pipe works beer wish i would of grabbed more while i was in Chicago, love he chocolate and raspberry in this stout, great dessert beer.

750ml bottle into a snifter

dark black pour with a slight whitish head. smell is huge on raspberries with a tad of smokiness. taste has a ton of raspberry flavor even after about a year, and is very smooth especially for the ABV. there is some chocolate thrown in at the back end as well. body is not that thick but not too thin either, hard to get a huge body with no barrel. carbonation is mild and appropriate.

overall probably the best fruit abduction...not world class or anything though.

Pour is dark brown, almost black with a bubbly light brown head. Nose is heavy raspberry purée. A hint of roasted malt and chocolate but not much else and dominated by raspberries. Taste has a bit more malt, still loads of raspberry. Hint of chocolate, and roasted ashy malt. Body is creamy, light carbonation and medium body. Sweet towards the back and lingers through the finish.
