Pipeworks Cascade has been growing and nurturing his infamous high alpha kick and aromatic abilities at Master Nunzino's Hop Head Farms. Hop Head Farms is where the strongest, most able hops go to enhance and punch up their Unicorn battling abilities. When you can snatch the ale from the shelves, you will be ready to drink, Grasshopper. Remember grasshopper, drink early, drink often, drink early, drink often, oh yeah, and wax on. And off.

A: The beer is slightly hazy yellow in color with some hints of amber hues and a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a narrow collar of white bubbles around the edge of the glass and lots of specks on the surface.
S: Light to moderate aromas of grapefruit and orange citrus and caramel malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, having initial flavors of citrusy hops and finishing with notes of the underlying caramel malts. There is a moderate amount of bitterness. Only a faint amount of alcohol is perceptible in the finish.
M: It feels medium-bodied and somewhat crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The taste has a good balance between the citrusy hops and caramel malts. It hides its alcohol quite well for an Imperial IPA. As such, it is very drinkable and goes down easily.

22 ounce bomber into a Pipeworks snifter.
Pours a nice looking orange/amber, a little hazy. Not much of a head or lacing. Smells of dank, citrusy hops- more orange to me, than grapefruit. Smells a little bit sweet as it warms. Taste continues the citrusy hops with a strong, malty backbone. Also get some floral hop flavor and a little mustiness. Some bitterness when it hits the tongue, not so much on the back end. Seems pretty sweet overall, and that's right up my alley. Very smooth, well carbonated.
Another above average DIPA from Pipeworks. A great single hop showcase and one you should try.
