Had this on tap for Vav's Norse Tap Takeover and for me this was the winner of the night. Absolutlely stellar lacing and aroma with a strong strawberry presence and a light kiwi undertone. Please make a lot more of this and bottle it! I could definitely drink this all summer.

(Served in a tulip glass)
A- This beer pours a murky woody yellow body with a big snow white head that sticks to the glass with each sip. This beer is a bit to murky to see much carbonation.
S- The yeasty dried strawberry aroma has some unripe kiwi notes and a sweaty wheat note in the finish that takes on a little tartness as it opens.
T- the taste of dry field corn is mostly DMS with some fruity tart sumac flavors that lead to unripe kiwi, green woody notes and a quickly fading strawberry hint. The finish is slightly fruity with a fruity acidic taste that lingers.
M- The medium mouthfeel has a tight scrubbing little fizz but no alcohol heat noticed.
O- The odd corn DMS gets in the way but the nice sumac notes help to cut it a good bit. The fruity flavors are not really bright fruit character and it dries out even more as it opens.

I have a little trouble believing those who are down on this beer. Witibier is a great style, and this is quite an interesting take.
Appearance - The beer was a nice yellow straw color with a fluffy white head.
Smell - The aroma was sweet wheat with a hint of spice and banana notes. There is a lot going on here.
Taste - On the initial taste one notes the sour kiwi, strawberry, and the wheat. It begins almost like a sour before fading toward the wheat. My one complaint is that the taste kind of ends, leaving a rather weak finish.
Mouthfeel - The strong wheat leave a moderately thick texture that allows the taste to linger. The carbonation is also rather modest, furthering the staying power.
Overall - If I went by BA score, I might have purchased this. However, it was one of the clear winners at a recent bottle share.
